With the arrival of cold, damp weather, you feel discomfort in your joints, or an ‘inner’ cold that sets in, and you find it hard to get out of the duvet?

Are you familiar with the benefits of ginger and ‘warming’ spices in cooking? Now's the perfect time to use them! But they're just as good for cooking as they are for massage!
Prepare yourself this wonderfully warming oil, with a scent that that delights the senses:
Take a 100 ml bottle of sweet almond, sesame or grapeseed oil. Add 5 drops of cinnamon leaf essential oil, 5 drops of pepper essential oil and 10 drops of ginger essential oil. Shake well, then apply a few drops of the mixture to the soles of the feet, around the kidneys and along the spine.
With the damp winter weather, rub it under your feet and into your lower back to amplify the warming effect. Relax...
These essential oils are particularly strong, so avoid contact with mucous membranes and the eyes. Test the mixture on your skin before applying the oil all over your back.
You can apply it several times a day. When is the best time? In the evening, before going to bed, to help you relax and get a good night's sleep.
